Interview With LB!!!!!

HAii guys, so today I will be interviewing LB, Belle Whittington daughter!!

Did you want to become a book designer or was there another dream job?

I've always wanted to be a children's psychologist and tie in my art
work with helping kids. I do love designing books though. For a while,
I wanted to be a photographer.

Have you designed any other author’s books/trailers, and if so who?

I haven't. I'm open to doing book cover designs.

What your inspiration to design?

I like to listen to different kinds of music. Coldplay and The Civil
Wars are what I'm listening to now.

How do you formulate a cover?

It's a lengthy process of learning what the author likes, what
resources I have available, and what the public will like.

What helps you finalize a design?

Flipping it in photoshop, changing colours a billion times, then
getting up... making coffee, and sitting back down to look at it with
fresh eyes.

How long does this process take you?

About two weeks.
