Cinder by Marissa Meyer

How will one girl save the world?

Once upon a time, classy but this is not what you would
consider as a classic book.

16 year old Cinder is a cyborg, and one of the best mechanics in New Beijing. She has been fixing things pretty much her whole life. So there wasn’t really much of a surprise why Prince Kai himself would ask her to fix his android. Cinder confused why she had to rush but agreed to fix the android to impress the prince. But soon she has to face her own problems. Her sister and only human friend, Peony, catches the deadly dieses. Only hours before Peony dies Cinder stepmother blames her and makes her volunteer her body to find a cure.  Now stuck in the place lab they test her and soon find astounding discovery. But no one knows yet. Cinder discovers secrets that she will have a hard time to bear listening to. She finds out that she isn’t what she seems to be. Is she worth starting a war over?

This is one of my FAVORTIE books of all time. It is a unique twist of Cinderella but it is even better then the classic. I could not stop reading this book and felt the pain that Cinder went through from her stepmother and sister. I can’t wait to get a hold of the second book Scarlet. I would definitely read it and rate it 5/5!
